OPUS Cactus, an innovative Dutch company, is revolutionizing agriculture and bio-economy in semi-arid regions worldwide by establishing Opuntia-based agroecosystems. Our mission is to harness the potential of this versatile plant for sustainable food, feed, and energy production. We are currently seeking a passionate marketing intern to join our groundbreaking team.
As our Marketing Intern, you’ll:
- Assist in developing campaigns to promote our mission
- Create engaging content for social media platforms to raise awareness about Opuntia-based agroecosystems and solutions
- Conduct market research on semi-arid regions and potential applications of our technology
- Support content creation for our website and promotional materials
- Collaborate on outreach events and presentations to potential partners and investors
- Be based out of our office on Zernike Campus Groningen
- Receive a monthly renumeration of 250 euro’s.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Current enrollment in a Marketing, Environmental Sciences, or related degree program
- Strong interest in sustainable agriculture and innovative solutions
- Interest in digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning about cutting-edge agricultural practices
